Welcome to the Lost & Found archive, featuring photographs and reports from our evenings as well as information about the participating artists. All flyers have been photographed; their materiality is visible, with corners, folds, and relief retaining their tactile quality on screen.This site takes the form of a growth model and behaves as a work in its own right: it is always, and never, finished. The site functions as an archive and is not updated regularly; if you wish for a change or update, you may submit a request.
Since 1997, over 200 sessions of stray images and sound have been organised. Artists, writers, scientists and musicians present work in progress, experiment or present work that doesn't fit into their oeuvre (yet). A specific and unique stage for diverse and hybrid works which don't fit comfortably into galleries or museums.

Er is die onwerkelijke halve cirkel van de vier grote grachten in de binnenstad. Als ik mijn route over een van die grachten plan, kies ik voor het wegdromen van de realiteit. Door de hoge ramen vang ik flarden ornamenten, zie ik mezelf de luiken sluiten of een koopman twee eeuwen terug katrollen hijsen. Het is een in zichzelf gekeerde wereld, waar ik vooral geen toegang tot heb, en die onherroepelijk afloopt als ik op de Vijzelgracht weer terug de wereld van de Noord-Zuidlijn en copyrettes in moet.
Maar vanavond heb ik pasta gegeten in een stijlkamer in Louis XV-stijl onder een kroonluchter aan de Herengracht.
